Teen Leaders Camp
This 7-week program is designed for teens that love camp and want to gain or grow their leadership skills. Focus will be on leadership through team activities and volunteering in conjunction with traditional camp activities. Each week participants will swim, volunteer, and take field trips.
General Teen Leaders Camp Information:
Kids, join us for a summer of FUN, filled with excitement and activities as we "adventure" throughout the community! Teen Leaders Camp is a wonderful summer experience for teens 11-14 years old. It is a time to make friends, explore interests and develop new skills. Camp is filled with games, crafts and integrated educational experiences!
Camp runs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday-Thursday. There are field trips and outdoor activities planned everyday. AdventureCamp will be located in the Garfield Park Shelter at the Collins House, and travel around the community so kids must arrive by 9:30 each day. Kids will be back at Garfield Park at 3:30 PM from their day trips. Most important, if kids come with a good attitude we guarantee a fun time!
Campers must:
• Bring a reusable water bottle, swim suit, towel, and book with them to camp each day.
• Come in tennis shoes; this is an active outdoor camp!
• Have a completed camp registration packet and release prior to the start of camp.
Note: A parent information meeting will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 6 at the Collins House Shelter inside Garfield Park (1234 E 29th Street, Davenport).
